Wedding Flowers
Reception venue wedding flowers can really create a special atmosphere
and look best when they compliment the other flowers the bride carries.
They can be posies of flowers in dishes or hand-tieds of flowers in glass
bowls. Ordering flowers floating in low bowls or tall lily vases is possible,
as are candles and candelabras, long and low designs.
Top table designs, can be the same as guest tables or a different
style of your choice. Long and low designs are popular as are waterfall
styles which trail over the edge of a long top table.
It’s quite the thing to have fresh flowers on the wedding cake.
These can be made into little arrangements or wired corsages to
trail across the cake; again in keeping with the wedding flowers.
Flowers are often used in churches for religious ceremony and also
in registry offices and hotel civil ceremonies. Large pedestal designs
can be effective and are best created using flowers and colours
to compliment the wedding. These are also quite easy to transport
and move from church/ registry office to hotel reception.
Pews ends designs or chair back/side designs are a perfect way
to add a bridal feel to an ordinary setting. When ordering flowers
these can include a single rose/lily or few flowers tied with a
complimenting bow, or simply just be a ribbon bow tied around chair.
To finish the day, flowers as favours and ‘thank you’s are very
popular and again, in flowers to match the wedding finish a perfect
day.
